This year's Director's Award is presented to our current 2^nd Vice-President Carmen Swanson.  Carmen is undoubtedly one of the most dedicated and hardworking directors within the IAATI executive board. She embodies the phrase, "when the going gets tough, Carmen gets going.”

Her involvement has been crucial to the success of numerous events, showcasing her unwavering commitment to IAATI. Her consistency and dedication over the past few years are evident in her efforts during the Chicago, Hawaii, and now the Orlando conferences.  Her efforts were pivotal in the success of the Hawaii Conference.

Carmen's leadership style fosters productivity and engagement within her committee. She listens to and develops her members’ thoughts with utmost respect. Her management skills are exceptional, earning her a high degree of trustworthiness. When challenges arise, Carmen gets results.
