Robert "Robbie" Midzuno

I have been fighting fraud in my SIU role for over 30 years. I am currently a SIU Special
Investigator with Nationwide Insurance and retired police officer from the Sacramento
Police Department. I currently serve as the current President for the Western States
Auto Theft Investigators, Northern CA. and IAATI Western Region Chapter 2 nd  Vice
President.
 
I have a passion for fighting fraud and staying current on fraud trends through
education. I have also participated as chair lead or co-chair of numerous WSATI/IAATI
Conferences throughout my career. Also the Past President for IAATI Western Region.
 
I am very active in my community at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento CA and
Buddhist Church of Stockton CA. I am on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento
Police 1849 Foundation since its inception since 2018.
 
I work closely with Law Enforcement, Department of Insurance, District Attorney’s
offices, NICB as well as SIU investigators from other Insurance Companies. 
 
My goal is to enhance educational opportunities for our members and strengthen the
relationship between local chapters, local organizations, and the international Board.
