Michael "BO" Beauregard

34-year career dedicated to combating fraud and auto theft, I bring extensive
experience and a deep passion for this field.
I am currently Supervising Special Agent with the National Insurance Crime Bureau
(NICB), having retired from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) after 30 years of
service. I also serve as the Past President and Advisor for the Western States Auto
Theft Investigators (WSATI), Northern California chapter.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to staying current on fraud trends
through continuous education. I have had the privilege of leading and co-chairing
numerous WSATI conferences, which has further fueled my dedication to this cause.
My work involves close collaboration with Auto Theft Task Forces, law enforcement
agencies, the Department of Insurance, District Attorney’s offices, and Special
Investigation Units (SIUs) from various insurance companies. These partnerships have
been crucial in our collective efforts to combat auto crimes and Insurance fraud.
I am committed to acting as an ambassador for IAATI WRC, fostering collaboration,
sharing information, and bringing together resources to make our organization even
stronger.
