Dennis Frias

Dennis Frias is the 2 nd Vice-President of IAATI International and also the Secretary-
Treasurer for the Western Regional Chapter of IAATI. He has been an IAATI member
since 2003. Dennis has also held Board positions with the Western States Auto Theft
Investigators, Orange County (CA) Auto Theft Investigators, Crime Prevention Program
of Southern California as well as serving as a committee member of the International
Association of Chiefs of Police - Vehicle Crimes Committee.
Professionally, Dennis is currently the Director of Law Enforcement Relations at Locator
Technologies LLC, which serves the auto finance industry and law enforcement by
providing information to prevent fraudulent title/lien loss. Locator also provides lien and
vehicle seizure data from Mexico to U.S. law enforcement and the auto finance industry.
Dennis previously spent 30 years with the California Highway Patrol, specializing in
vehicle theft investigations. At the time of his retirement, Frias was the Sergeant of the
CHP Foreign Export and Recovery South Team working at the U.S./Mexico border and
the Ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach.
