In 2000, Alan was part of the team that worked towards the foundation of the IAATI UK Branch. It was his ambition to create a magazine for the UK Branch, and he successfully launched the ‘Alliance’ magazine, which rivaled the International’s APB and helped attract new members, forming the foundation of this branch. It is a fitting tribute for the Alan Taylor Award to recognise Alan’s service to the Association and the community.
